KungFu.Life Summer Retreat – Terms & Conditions

1. Organizer

This retreat is organized and operated by Xin Sunfield Ltd, a sister company of KungFu.Life Ltd.

All contracts, payments, and responsibilities for the retreat are with Xin Sunfield Ltd.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to register and attend, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Contract of booking

No contract shall exist until the completed booking form is submitted and a Payment has been made and a Confirmation Receipt has been issued. 

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Spaces for our summer retreat are limited, and we will always endeavour to handle cancellations as sympathetically as possible.

Full payment or install payment is required at the time of booking. Within this amount, a non-refundable deposit of €399 is included.

If you need to cancel, the following policy applies:

• Cancellations made up to one month before the retreat start date will result in a refund of all monies paid, less the €399 deposit.

• Cancellations made less than one month before the retreat start date will result in the loss of 100% of the total retreat fee.

• In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by the organiser, participants will first be offered the option to transfer their booking to a rescheduled retreat date.
  If rescheduling is not possible, all payments — including the deposit — will be fully refunded.

• Please note: We are not liable for cancellations, delays, or other impacts caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, health pandemics, or government travel restrictions. We strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events.

• Payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

5. Travel and Insurance

• Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the retreat location.

• We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, health emergencies, and personal belongings.

• Xin Sunfield Ltd is not responsible for loss, theft, injury, or illness occurring during travel to or from the retreat.

6. Health and Safety

• By attending the retreat, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in movement, martial arts, and outdoor activities.

• Participants must disclose any medical conditions or injuries in advance.

• Xin Sunfield Ltd reserves the right to decline participation for individuals if it is deemed unsafe for health reasons.

7. Behavior and Community Agreement

• All participants agree to treat others with respect and kindness.

• Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

8. Media Release

We love capturing the spirit of the retreat — the moments of movement, connection, and inspiration — through photographs and videos.
These images may be used to share the story of our work for future retreats, educational projects, and promotions.

By joining us, you’re giving us permission to include you in this storytelling.
If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let us know in writing before the retreat begins — we completely respect your wishes.

9. Liability Waiver

By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge and accept:

• The inherent risks associated with physical activities

• That participation is voluntary

• That Xin Sunfield Ltd and KungFu.Life Ltd are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses arising from your participation

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republic of Ireland.
